Spring

Through every window, a watercolor scene of trees and grass. Dogwood, redbud, prairie crabapple trees in full bloom. What a joy!
Rains and cool weather have made for a spectacular midwestern spring.

Nature's first green is gold, Her hardest hue to hold,
Her early leaf's a flower, but only for an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf. So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day. Nothing gold can stay.
Robert Frost
